When: In summer when the sun is shining. Germany and especially the northern part is so unpredictable. A nice sunny day can happen anytime between May and September but there is no guarantee.
Drink: They have everything. From good beer (since its Germany) to cocktails and a variety of coffees. You don’t have to eat if you’re not hungry you can just sit down for a drink.
Eat: Their food menu is quite large. Normally that’s a sign for not such good food but they really do it well. I love the mixed salad that they have especially cause you can add salmon, chicken, steak and many more things to it (for a hot day). But my all time favourite is the Burger. It tastes great and its nearly impossible to finish it all (not that I’ve never done it).
Price: I would say something for everyone. Whilst beer and some dishes (like pasta, salad and also the burger) are really cheap, other things like the steaks or some fishes are more expensive. However the prices are very reasonable.
Do: Ask for the english menu if you don’t speak german. They have one and are happy to bring it to you. Also they have specials of the day depending on the season…
My tip: A drink called “Blaubeerspritz”… It’s a almost like Prosecco with Aperol, but they replace the Aperol with Peach liquor and put fresh fruits into it. A really delicious and refreshing summer drink that you won’t find in any of the other bars in Bremen (At least I haven’t)
